Check desktop availability, prepare your account, then test your audio before relying on live assistance.
1. Check your desktop release
The website and account service are available. A desktop download appears only after the operator approves that exact signed, installed build. Until a download appears for your platform, the consumer desktop release is pending. Practice, live guidance and debriefs are development-build capabilities; their presence in source code does not establish availability in an approved release.
Windows 10 build 19041+ · x64
macOS 13+ · Intel
macOS 13+ · Apple Silicon
Other platforms, including mobile and Linux, have no supported desktop download. Contact support for availability. A Google account alone does not install or enable the desktop.
Service status
Status has not been checked. Enable JavaScript to check, or contact support. A reachable service is not proof of audio or model quality.
2. Prepare your account
Open the account panel and continue with Google. For a new account, read and accept the linked terms and privacy policy. You can prepare your profile, stories and job while a desktop release is pending. The installed desktop signs in with Google separately, using the service address included in its package. It needs no provider key or source commands.
Status has not been checked. Enable JavaScript to check, or contact support. A reachable service is not proof of audio or model quality.
Before a test or session, review your account panel’s usage, configured caps and expiry. The desktop’s Access, allowance and help section shows the same service values. It asks you to review an allowance that is at least 80% used, exhausted or expired. The service enforces audio limits. Two simultaneous tracks count as one listening interval. Missing values do not establish a free or unlimited offer.
No published price, trial cutoff or checkout has been established. Usage is not an invoice. No payment is requested in this journey.
3. Install, sign in and run preflight
This is the intended workflow for an approved installed release, not evidence that a signed installer or a meeting configuration has passed. The animation on the homepage is illustrative.
- Once an approved download appears, choose your exact operating system and processor. Use the OS installer. If trust verification or installation fails, stop and contact support; do not bypass security prompts.
- Open PasaRonda. Its packaged service address and startup update check come before sign-in. If an update is required, install it and reopen. If the service is unavailable, retry or contact support.
- Continue with Google in the desktop. Choose A call on this computer for separate microphone and computer audio, or A conversation nearby for one microphone that hears everyone. Set your app and transcription languages independently.
- Choose the microphone and audio output, then use headphones. On macOS, grant the permissions requested for your chosen mode; restart the app if the OS requires it.
- Use Test audio with a fictional question and answer. Check each source separately and confirm the spoken text. Use Test coaching only after reviewing your allowance; preflight can use configured providers.
- Start only when the checks work on your exact meeting setup. Stop listening to stop capture. Finish or pause deliberately; saved recovery and export remain available during service problems.
What is retained
Saving a PDF/DOCX from the website or desktop uploads it to the API for extraction and review. Save document retains original bytes and reviewed text in your profile. Cancel discards the unsaved preview. Only selected text and facts enter model context, not original document bytes. Interview records, provider policies and deletion/export limitations are described in the privacy policy.
Recovery and support
Retry a failed service check before changing anything. During an interview, keep the saved recovery entry, export available evidence and reconnect to the same service and account. Support can help with unavailable sign-in, unsupported platforms and audio permissions.
The desktop’s Save safe diagnostics creates a local file containing build, OS and status codes only. It excludes credentials, account identifiers, device names, transcript, documents, screenshots and raw errors. Review it before attaching it to a message. Nothing is sent automatically. Never paste private interview text or a provider key into a support request.
